Years ago, my pastor's wife asked me if I would plan and host a monthly card ministry for the ladies in our church. I didn't own a stamp and had never made a card, but I said, "Sure. I'd love to do that!"
I located a representative from Stampin' Up and signed on to become a (hobby) demonstrator so I could receive a discount on supplies. The church card ministry was well received and over the years expanded to include scrapbooking. We multiplied in numbers and averaged 45-50 women every month. The ladies sincerely enjoyed crafting together and over the nine-year period (108 events), developed enduring friendships. Along the way, I was inspired to turn my hobby into a business by setting goals and moving forward with a plan.
Stampin' Up has been perfect for me. It can be perfect for you too. (Part time. Full time. Lots of time. Little time.) Stampin' Up complements my Christian values and adds a pinch of creative harmony to each precious day. I have loved the journey and am thrilled to offer the opportunity to others. If you would like a little Stampin' Sunshine in your life, contact me and I'll set aside some quality time for you!
I live in Vancouver, Washington, and of course, there is a Starbucks very near my home. I would love to meet you there and tell you the inside scoop about Stampin' Up! I will even bring a bunch of my fancy and fabulous cards to inspire you... Coffee, cards, and girl-talk is always so fun! However, if you live in a city or state far away, call me and ask questions about how long-distance business friendships can thrive! Oh yes!
